The Team France has been founded in 2012 with the aim to support and surround the French candidate of Bocuse d’Or, following important mobilization of numerous countries. The team is composed of Michelin stared chefs, Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, Bocuse d’Or candidate, foodservice professionals and partners. The complementary skills of the members makes the team a strong one which supports the candidate throughout the competition until the Finale.

Romuald Fassenet


President

Excellence and curiosity are a central theme of Romuald Fassenet career. From the stove of Matignon to the kitchens of Tour d’Argent, Romuald Fassenet has gained the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2004. In 2007 him and his family settled at Château de Mont Joly in Sampans in Jura where he’s rapidly been awarded with a Michelin Star.

Fabrice Prochasson


Vice-President

Passionate, committed and decorated chef, Fabrice Prochasson, proudly wears since 1996 the tricolor collar of Meilleurs Ouvriers de France that we won while working in the prestigious Maison Lenôtre. In 2013, we also won the Bocuse d’Or as Official Coach with Thibault Ruggeri. In 2016 he joins Aryzta Food Solution group as Director of creation, innovation and partnerships. He’s also the President of the Académie Culinaire de France since 2015.

Yohann Chapuis


Treasury

Committed chef and man of challenges, Yohann Chapuis won his first Michelin Star only 10 months following the opening of his restaurant l’Ecrin located within the mythical Maison Greuze in Tournus which he took over in 2008 with his wife Stéphanie. Taittinger prize winner in 2004, finalist of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France competition, Yohann joins Davy Tissot in the Bocuse d’Or competition as Official Coach France which they won in 2021.

Pascal Schneider


Treasury Assistant

Since 20 years, Pascal Schneider works alongside Chefs as Marketing Director of French companies in the gastronomy industry. It’s naturally that he wished to join Team France in order to support the French candidate in reaching the top of the podium of the prestigious competition.

Julie Pobel


Secretary

Over the past years, Julie has worked for some of the most prestigious French gastronomy brands. It’s naturally that she joined the Team France Bocuse d’Or in order to support France achieve a new podium during Bocuse d’Or 2025.
