The Team France has been founded in 2012 with the aim to support and surround the French candidate of Bocuse d’Or, following important mobilization of numerous countries. The team is composed of Michelin stared chefs, Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, Bocuse d’Or candidate, foodservice professionals and partners. The complementary skills of the members makes the team a strong one which supports the candidate throughout the competition until the Finale.

Serge Vieira
President
Bocuse d’Or Winner in 2005, Serge Vieira and his wife settled down in 2009 at Château de Coffour in Chaudes-Aigues to open their restaurant « Serge Vieira », that has been quickly awarded with 2 Michelin Star. Since over 10 years in Chaudes-Aigues, they offer a unique experience blending emotion and generosity while serving an elegant cuisine combining perfectly textures, flavoursand aestheticism. As a former Bocuse d’Or Winner and strong of his experience coaching several other countries’ teams, it’s very naturally that Serge Vieira has become President of Team France.
Romuald Fassenet
Vice-President
Excellence and curiosity are a central theme of Romuald Fassenet career. From the stove of Matignon to the kitchens of Tour d’Argent, Romuald Fassenet has gained the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2004. In 2007 him and his family settled at Château de Mont Joly in Sampans in Jura where he’s rapidly been awarded with a Michelin Star.
Eric Pras
Treasury
Native from Roanne, Eric Pras started his carreer at Maison Troisgros. In 2004, he won the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France, just before joining Régis Marcon in Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid. In 2008, he joined Maison Lameloise as Executive Chef where he currently holds three Michelin Star. Eric Pras is also treasury of Team France.
Pascal Schneider
Treasury Assistant
Since 20 years, Pascal Schneider works alongside Chefs as Marketing Director of French companies in the gastronomy industry. It’s naturally that he wished to join Team France in order to support the French candidate in reaching the top of the podium of the prestigious competition.
Franck Putelat
Secretary
Native from Jura, Franck Putelat wins his first Michelin Star when he headed the restaurant “La Barbacane” in 1998. In 2003, he participated to the famous Bocuse d’Or competition where he won Silver Bocuse prize. Currently, Franck is Executive Chef at the restaurant “Table of Franck Putelat”, which holds two Michelin Star, in Carcassonne.
