Maxence BARUFFALDI

On the road to European selection

On October 21, 2025, at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, Maxence BARUFFALDI won the prestigious title of Bocuse d’Or France 2025 laureate.
With his commis Ciara CHARMOT by his side and guided by his coach, Chef Édouard LOUBET, he distinguished himself after more than four hours of intense competition.

Following this victory, Maxence BARUFFALDI and his team officially join the Bocuse d’Or Team France. They are now entering a new phase of preparation ahead of the European selection, which will take place in March 2026 in Marseille.

The training sessions will be held at Le Refuge in Lyon, a center of excellence dedicated to training and supporting French candidates.
There, Maxence will be able to rely on the expertise and solidarity of the entire Team France to pursue his goal: to represent French gastronomy and secure his place in the Bocuse d’Or Grand Final in Lyon in 2027.

After coaching Edouard Loubet at the 2023 Bocuse d’Or France, he is now turning the tables and leading his team at the European Bocuse d’Or contest.
